In a strong coorperation with AnyWeb Switzerland, anyweb offers several products for mobile data communication.

A lot of devices today require communication while being on the move:

• Emergency organisations (police, ambulance, fire brigade, etc) need access to databases,
• Bus and train services would like to offer their customers up-to-date information on their journeys,
• Transport companies need to update the position of the deliverers or fetch new orders,
• etc.

Today many specialized devices have their own means of communication. For example, a laptop has a mobile data communication card installed, and next to it, the GPS has a GSM card to update the position on a central server.

Each of these devices needs its own hardware which may be limited in terms of communication protocols and/or security.

The AnyLynx family of products concentrates the traffic of all devices that need to communicate. It can be configured to transmit data over the best available channel. This includes WLAN, HSDPA, GPRS, Edge or any other mobile infrastructure. The data transport can be authenticated and secured this being a requirement for most mobile applications.

There are different products in the AnyLynx family available depending on the requirements. They are built on the base of Cisco router hardware or on Linux Embedded technology. AnyWeb Switzerland is the developer of the hardware and software for the AnyLynx devices and they can be customized to any need.
